MADISON, Wis.–The CUNA Human Resources & Organizational Development Council said it will host a “Virtual Conference Collection” Oct. 8-14 that will include an “engaging new format.
According to the Council, for the virtual conference collection, each of the six “high-impact sessions are curated based on relevancy in today’s new environment from the agenda planned for the Council’s annual conference in Orlando.”
The Council said topic explored in this inaugural virtual event will include:
- Legal updates
- Using AI
- Training changes for future
- Leading during times of crisis
- Diversity, equity and inclusion
“Sharing insights with peers is one of the most dynamic resources available for designing HR programs that embody the credit union movement mission of people helping people,” said Cindy Swigert, vice president of human resources at UVA Community Credit Union and chair of the CUNA Human Resources & Organizational Development Council. “I’m excited that this new virtual conference format will enable peers and experts to network and work together on the challenges currently facing credit unions.”
The CUNA HR & Organizational Development Council said it is making 10 scholarships available for this event. Scholarship recipients will receive a full registration. To be considered, you must be a current Council member and submit an application online by Friday, Sept. 25.
