ORLANDO–The six CUNA Councils are rolling out a new networking platform called “the Councils Community.”
Introduced during the joint annual meeting of the CUNA Operations, Sales & Service Council and the CUNA Technology Council, the new web-based Councils Community will expand many of the networking opportunities and list serves available within the individual Councils to all of the Councils’ near 7,000 members. The new platform is expected to go live in Q4.
The new site will offer discussion by topic, and will be searchable by expertise and credit union demographics. Council-members will be able to identify their own expertise, as well.
The Councils said the move is being made because there are so many issues that aren’t just innate to a single Council or discipline, and that most challenges cross many areas of an enterprise. Topics that will be discussed initially include:
- Hot topics
- Emerging technology
- Regulatory/legislative/compliance
- Executive dialogue
- HR strategy and practices
- Payments and Plastics
- Sales and Services
- Cybersecurity/fraud prevention
- Business Development
- Marketing Strategy
- ALM Strategies.
The six CUNA Councils are CFO; HR; Operations, Sales and Service; Lending; Marketing and Business Development, and Technology.
