ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Credit Union Financial Education Network (CUFEN) has announced updates to its reporting system it said will “better supply critical data to senior credit union leaders fighting for mandated financial education nationwide.”
CUFEN, which was previously known as the National Youth Involvement Board, noted that historically it “has been a leader in collecting critical financial education data. CUFEN’s reporting metrics provide quantitative and qualitative data from credit unions across the country executing local financial literacy initiatives in their respective regions.”
CUFEN is urging all credit unions to embed financial literacy into all facets of their brands, especially in community outreach and school partnership activities. It said it has available presentation materials and best practices on how initiatives and campaigns work.
Reporting Tips Available
CUFEN is also suggesting credit unions turn to its website’s reporting tips to ensure consistency and continuity among reports. The reporting cadence is designated July 1 through June 30 the following year to better align with traditional school year calendars and the annual CUFEN Conference, the organization said.
