MADISON, Wis.—CUES has launched CUES Leadership & Organizational Services, a new advisory practice aimed at helping credit unions navigate operational, leadership and strategic challenges through customized consulting support.
The organization said the new service brings together advisors with more than 40 years of combined experience working within credit unions and is designed to provide tailored guidance based on each institution’s specific goals and organizational needs.
“As professionals with deep institutional knowledge, our team understands the real-world constraints credit unions face, including budgets and internal constraints,” said Pixie Gray, CUES SVP/Organizational Development.
Unlike other industry consulting models, CUES Leadership & Organizational Services works alongside credit unions to strengthen people, culture, and strategic execution through a collaborative, organization‑wide approach, the organization explained.
“Partnering closely with our credit union clients, we take a deep look at their specific circumstances, then create tailored solutions to enhance and complement existing resources—not replace them,” Gray said.
The process starts with a discovery call featuring a structured set of thoughtful, in-depth questions designed to uncover the realities of the credit union’s culture, challenges, and goals. From there, the team designs a strategic plan tailored to the credit union’s specific circumstances, CUES explained.
“Our approach is modular; think of it like Legos,” said Gray. “We recommend the pieces we believe will be most effective, then work in partnership with the credit union to adapt the plan to create the right fit.”
Once the plan moves into action, the CUES Leadership & Organizational Services team provides the exact level of support each credit union chooses.
“Our team remains a ready resource as credit unions put their plans into action,” said Gray. “We serve as a partner, advisor, or consultant at whatever level is most helpful, providing support where it adds value and stepping back when teams are ready to move forward independently.”
