DALLAS—CU1 has selected the Prospera wealth platform from BankSocial, deepening its strategic partnership with the fintech firm and expanding its digital investment capabilities.
Under the agreement, CU1 will integrate Prospera into its existing digital banking environment, enabling members to access stock and digital asset trading within the credit union’s app. The platform is designed to provide embedded investing tools while maintaining compliance, security and institutional oversight within the credit union’s ecosystem.
The move builds on the growing relationship between CU1 and BankSocial and reflects CU1’s broader effort to enhance member engagement and diversify revenue streams, BankSocial said.

According to BankSocial, the platform allows institutions to embed stock and digital asset trading directly into their digital banking experience, support regulatory compliance requirements and pursue additional non-interest income opportunities. The integration is intended to help credit unions retain deposits, strengthen primary financial relationships and attract younger, digitally focused members.
Unlike standalone fintech apps that operate outside a financial institution’s environment, the platform is designed to keep investment activity within the credit union’s digital channels. BankSocial said the wealth platform is part of its broader digital infrastructure offering for regulated financial institutions, which includes payments, wallet capabilities and compliance tools.
