MARTINSVILLE, Va.–A name change by the former Martinsville Dupont Credit Union will also mean a name change for a local stock car race.
The Martinsville Dupont Credit Union 300 will now be known as the ValleyStar Credit Union 300, reflecting the name change. The race, which will take place Oct. 4 at the Martinsville Speedway, attracts hundreds of late-model stock cars, all attempting to qualify for the race.
