MIDLAND, Mich.–Dow Chemical Employees Credit Union, which has a formal Select Employer Group program in place, said that program has helped to bring another company into its field of membership.
DCECU said MidMichigan Health employees, retirees and their family members are now members as the result of its “DCECU Select” program.
“By participating in DCECU Select, employers are able to give their employees access to the unique, money-saving benefits of DCECU membership,” said DCECU President/CEO Dennis Hanson in a statement. “Our sole focus is on helping our members protect and improve their financial well-being. One of the ways we do that is by giving them back a portion of our profits in the form of potential loan interest rebates and Member Saver Rewards. We’ve given loan interest rebates on eligible loans every year since 1980. For 2015, we were able to give back a record $14 million to our members in rebates and rewards.”
Currently, more than 50 companies – ranging in size from 10 employees to tens of thousands of employees – participate in the DCECU Select program, which Hanson says continues to grow.
