STERLING, Colo.–John Byczkowski, the president of Sterling Community Federal Credit Union here, has announced his retirement, as has the credit union’s chairman, Mike Lauer. Both have served more than three decades at the credit union.
Byczkowski, who has been with SCFCU for 33 years, announced at the CU’s annual meeting that he will be stepping down. During his career Byczkowski oversaw growth from $10 million in assets to more than $133 million.
Lauer has served on the board for more than 30 years.
No successors to either have been named.
