SAN RAMON, Calif.–Patelco Credit Union said it is making banking even sweeter at its new City Center Bishop branch by partnering with a Sprinkles bakery on a first-of-its-kind branch space. The space combines financial services with a community room that opens into the cupcake bakery, the credit union said. The bakery will open in the fall.
The combined 5,000-square-foot Patelco branch, community and Sprinkles spaces “create an inviting space to bank, engage with a Patelco team member or to relax and enjoy a freshly banked cupcake and coffee,” Patelco said.
“We are really excited to create a place where our team, Sprinkles, the community and members can come together,” said Erin Mendez, president and CEO of Patelco. “We love that the space can be a place for our members and families to take care of a quick transaction, have a larger conversation about their financial goals or just enjoy a sweet treat together.”
Patelco’s said its full-service branch and free, open community workspace will feature a modern design with a dedicated member service area, including two teller stations, six offices for private conversations, a tech table where members can explore products and services, a digital media wall featuring community specialties, an interior ATM, and a guest seating area.
Cupcake ATM
The new Sprinkles City Center Bishop Ranch shop will feature its signature design elements that reflect the playfulness and joy of the cupcake bakery’s experience as well as a Cupcake ATM for Sprinkles fans on the go. The Cupcake ATM will be restocked daily, and throughout the day, with a variety of freshly baked cupcakes and cookies available 24/7.
