WASHINGTON—CU Voices, launched to drive additional comment letters to NCUA on its revised risk-based capital proposal, has now generated 262 such letters from 30 organizations.
That includes more than 40 more comments as the result of a booth the organization hosted during CUNA’s recent GAC. CUVoices is being backed by a number of organizations and individuals, including Chip Filson of Callahan & Associates and Randy Karnes of CU*Answers.
"Credit unions must engage in this battle. Some think CUNA, NAFCU, NASCUS and/or Board Member Mark McWatters can change the outcome without volumes of support, but that simply isn't true,” said Filson.
