CU Strategic Planning to Host Webinar on Applying for CDFI Funds

TACOMA, Wash.–With Congress discussing additional funding for the CDFI Fund, CU Strategic Planning will host a webinar on Wednesday, March 25, at 2 p.m. EST for credit unions offering information, including on how to apply.

“If you are a CDFI credit union, you know members with credit issues, with multiple jobs, and with layoffs coming are going to need help,” CU Strategic Planning said. “Lending is going to be vital to help members and to keep credit unions strong during 2020. If you are a CDFI, we'll help you write your next grant application. If you are not yet a CDFI, we’ll help you get certified to take advantage of these vital assistance program dollars.”

The company, which is the most successful in credit unions at winning grants, said the town hall meeting will focus on accessing these resources from CDFI and NCUA on the upcoming grant rounds. The webinar will be hosted by Mike Beall, chief strategic officer, and have Sharon Hall and Ronaldo Hardy (former CDFI CEOs) and its CFO and chief diversity and inclusion officer on ways on hand to “help your credit union keep you moving forward and get you ready for grant programs.”
