CU Solutions Group Acquires MemberXP

LIVONIA, Mich.–CU Solutions Group (CUSG), a CUSO majority-owned by the Michigan Credit Union League, has acquired research firm MemberXP.

“Providing a range of solutions that help credit unions incorporate member feedback and insights across the organization, the SaaS-based MemberXP supports CUSG’s strategic focus on member-centric credit union growth plans and marketing technology solutions,” CUSG said.

According to CUSG, MemberXP is the largest provider of direct credit union member feedback via quantitative and qualitative research in the United States and provides actionable research to credit unions in their pursuit of brand differentiation. “With an average client size of $750 million in assets, and more than 20 clients with more than $1 billion in assets, MemberXP is the leader in industry-specific benchmarking,” CUSG said, adding the company's MemberShoppers product helps credit unions gather member feedback on processes, products and employees, and its MemberView product helps credit unions uncover member journey experiences through a member voice analytics engine.

‘Exciting Opportunity’

"MemberXP provides an exciting opportunity for CUSG and specifically for our Marketing Solutions, LLC," said Dave Adams, president/CEO of CU Solutions Group. "The additional capabilities strengthen and extend the services offered by both MemberXP and CUSG and enhance our complete solutions approach. With a range of high-profile clients, the acquisition of MemberXP supports our shared plans to help credit unions meet increasing demands by their members for seamless online and offline interactions."

According to CUSG, the acquisition of MemberXP supports the CUSO’s plans for growth with a vision to become the industry leader for credit unions requiring actionable insights derived from sophisticated multi-channel member engagement data.

"CUSG's acquisition of MemberXP provides a major growth opportunity for both our business and extended services for our credit union clients," said Constance Anderson, MemberXP founder. "With the stability and backing of one of the industry's leaders in marketing and technology solutions, MemberXP customers will benefit from improved products, services and innovation. Likewise, the services we bring to CUSG enable us to meaningfully enhance the marketing solutions they already provide across the industry."

While both CU Solutions Group and MemberXP will continue to operate under their own names, branding will align with CUSG to highlight and emphasize complementary and supporting services across the two businesses, the organizations said.
