LEWISBERRY, Penn.–Members 1st FCU is making a donation to charity after the local Red Land Little League team made it to the finals of the Little League World Series, which is played in Williamsport, Penn.
Prior to the championship weekend, the credit union had said it would donate $100 for every run the team scored. It lost 18-11 to Japan in the final game.
The Little Leaguers were feted upon their return home, riding on a fire truck as several-thousand people greeted them at a local high school.
