ONTARIO, Calif.–CU Direct will host a brand-new webcast offering an updated and in-depth auto analysis of the auto lending performance on June 1. The webcast will provide the insights CUs need “to stay ahead of the competition now and throughout 2017,” the company said.
CU Direct’s VP Analytics & Advisory Services, Michael Cochrum, will provide the latest perspectives on emerging trends and issues facing the automotive industry. Special guest presenter, Maryann Keller, Keller & Associates, will be discussing the used-car market -- where it is, where it’s going, and what lenders should pay attention to.

Separately, CU Direct announced the results of its board of directors and officers elections during the company’s annual shareholders meeting at the DRIVE ’17 Conference in Las Vegas.
CU Direct’s board of directors elected Nader Moghaddam, president and CEO of Financial Partners Credit Union, as the company’s new chairman during its officers election. Moghaddam has served on CU Direct’s board since 2011.
Jim Laffoon, president and CEO, Security Service Federal Credit Union and Keith Sultemeier, president and CEO, Kinecta Federal Credit Union, were re-elected to three-year terms on the board of directors. Chuck Purvis, president and CEO, Coastal Federal Credit Union was elected to a three-year term as director, after serving on the board as an associate director.
The company’s board also elected Keith Sultemeier as vice chairman, and Jim Laffoon as the board’s secretary and treasurer.
During the company’s shareholder’s meeting, CU Direct’s president and CEO, Tony Boutelle and the board of directors recognized outgoing chairman, Jeff March, president and CEO of Citadel Credit Union, for his leadership, dedication and nine years of distinguished service on the board.
“CU Direct and our board of directors wishes to express its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Jeff for his leadership, guidance, and outstanding service as chairman,” said Boutelle. March will continue to serve as ex-officio on the board, as well as a director on Intuvo’s board, a CU Direct company.
