ONTARIO, Calif.—CU Direct has doubled the amount of money it has committed to donating to a Children’s Miracle Network hospital as part of its “20 for 20 Giveback Campaign.”
In celebration of its 20th anniversary, the company had initially said it would donate $20,000 to a CMN Hospital based on votes by credit unions and their members. Now CU Direct said it will still be donating the $20,000, but in addition to the first-place finisher, it will also be donating $5,000 each to four runner-up hospitals.
The promotion, which runs through Dec. 22, allows voters to cast their votes once per day. Since launch, CU Direct is reporting that more than 80,000 votes have been cast. Voting will run through Dec. 22, with the winning hospitals announced on Dec. 23.
