COLUMBUS, Ohio–CME Federal Credit Union has named a new CEO. Jeff Carpenter has been selected to lead the organization, following the retirement of Jim Riederer.
Carpenter most recently served as VP-member relations and strategic development for CUNA.
“I am both humbled and honored for the opportunity to lead CME Federal Credit Union and its tradition of serving the unique financial needs of our member-owners, especially the heart of CME—the police, fire and other civil servants of Central Ohio,” Carpenter said in a released statement.
Carpenter has also held positions with the Ohio Credit Union League, Wright-Patt Credit Union, the Oklahoma Credit Union League and U.S. Central Credit Union.
The $255 million-asset CME has 64 full-time employees and six branches in Central Ohio.
