WASHINGTON—The CFPB is seeking comment on the small business lending marketplace, which are due to the Bureau by July 14, according to a notice from the agency in the Federal Register.
The CFPB noted that it is seeking information on what financial institutions are lending to small businesses and what products are offered.
As CUToday.info reported, last week the Bureau launched an inquiry into ways to gather and use new and existing information to identify the financing needs of small businesses, especially those owned by women and minorities.
The agency made the announcement ahead of its public field hearing Thursday on small business lending.
