WASHINGTON—The CFPB has published an updated version of its Mortgage Servicing Small Entity Compliance Guide, NAFCU reported.
The updated guide includes information on amendments made to rules implementing the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (Regulation X) and the Truth in Lending Act (Regulation Z) by the mortgage servicing final rule from August. The final rule amended parts of the CFPB’s 2013 mortgage rules.
Most of the rule’s requirements will go into effect on Oct. 19, 2017.
