JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–Community First Credit Union here has signed on to continue as the “Official Credit Union” of Jacksonville Armada FC, the soccer team that plays in the North American Soccer League. Community First has been a sponsor of the Armada since its founding.
According to the agreement, Community First will continue to have logo rights to the back of the Armada FC team jerseys and all team replica jerseys. This will be the third season Community First’s logo will appear on the jersey of the Armada FC.
“We are thrilled to again be a part of professional soccer through the Armada FC,” said John Hirabayashi, CEO and president of Community First, in a statement. “The Armada provides families and fans a local soccer team to rally around and gives our community an in-person exposure to the sport’s culture.”
Community First will also continue its co-branded Official Armada Credit Card and the fan-favorite Armada Debit Card. The Armada Credit Card features specific perks for Armada FC cardholders. The card includes two season passes to the Armada FC games, no annual fee and a competitive low annual interest rate.
Community First noted it has supported the Armada FC and its fans since the club’s inaugural season, including being the namesake of the club’s first home facility, Community First Park at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville in 2015.
Other teams in the NASL include FC Edmonton, Indy Eleven, Miami FC, New York Cosmos, North Carolina FC, Puerto Rico FC, and San Francisco Deltas.
