BROOKLYN, N.Y.—Bay Ridge Federal Credit Union has named Anthony Grigos as its new president. Grigos, formerly EVP, succeeds Gene Brody, who stepped down at the $200-million CU’s annual meeting.
Administrative assistant Maria Rando told Brooklyn Daily that Brody had been with the CU since 1987
“When Gene took to the podium to announce the change of command and step down, he said, ‘It’s time to pass the reins,’” Rando told the newspaper. “I watched with pride as Gene stepped back and Anthony, who has been with the union since 2013, stepped forward.”
Grigos called Brody his “role model and mentor” and said he is “eager to take this opportunity to the next level,” Brooklyn Daily reported.
