TAMPA, Fla.—David Brock, president/ CEO of Community Credit Union of Rockledge, Fla., and also the current chairman of CSCU, has been named by CUES as its Outstanding Credit Union Chief Executive.
According to CUES, the award recognizes outstanding leaders who display professional achievement, employee motivation, and dedication to the community.
“David embodies the principals of CUES Outstanding Chief Executive. Under his leadership, Community Credit Union is thriving and making a meaningful impact on its members’ lives,” said John Pembroke, CUES’ president/CEO. “David invests in his own professional growth and encourages his staff and board to do the same. He is also an active volunteer within this credit union system and his community.”
In addition to Brock, Bill Raker, president/CEO of Firefly Credit Union in Burnsville, Minn., was named to the CUES Hall of Fame. Firefly Credit Union is also a CSCU member. The CUES Hall of Fame recognizes a lifetime of achievement and dedication to the credit union movement. Hall of Fame honorees were chosen by CUES’ board of directors for their contributions to their profession and the industry as well as involvement in community service, education and a history of self-improvement.

Brock and Raker will be honored at CUES’ CEO/Executive Team Network, Oct. 23-26, 2016, Hyatt Regency in Savannah, Ga.
