VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.–A suspect has been caught here after allegedly stabbing a Navy FCU branch employee and then leaving.
According to Virginia Beach police, Shontrina Fountain, 39, was arrested for stabbing the employee after entering the branch. The employee was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries and released.
Fountain was arrested after her car was located and she refused an officer’s commands. A taser was used on Fountain but was ineffective, and after she refused to exit her vehicle, she allegedly lunged at a police officer with a weapon. That officer discharged a firearm and Fountain was then taken into custody, according to police. She was treated at a local hospital.
