FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The $97-millionBragg Mutual FCU has acquired the member relationships at the Fayetteville and Kenansville branches of the $457-million Piedmont Advantage Credit Union, which is based in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The branch acquisitions were voted on and approved by PACU members who reside in the region, the credit union reported.
“We thank the members who voted overwhelmingly to join the Bragg Mutual family,” said Bragg Mutual President and CEO Steve Foley. “We are excited to not just serve our existing members in Fayetteville and Kenansville but to expand our industry-leading services, honest advice, and cost-saving solutions to a larger membership group.”
The former PACU branch in Kenansville becomes Bragg Mutual’s fifth branch. Since 2018, the $97-million credit union reported it has grown in assets by over 46%.
‘Ready to Serve’
“Kenansville residents already make a sizeable portion of our membership, and we look forward to improving their experience with the addition of the Kenansville branch to our footprint,” Foley added. “We know our new members will be excited that their community branch and team are ready to serve them today, tomorrow, and many years in the future.”
Bragg Mutual CU has approximately 9,400 members.
