SPOKANE, Wash.–The Northwest Credit Union Association, Idaho Credit Union League and Northwest Credit Union Foundation boards have announced their new boards, all of which are continuing for a second year with their respective executive committee leadership structures.
Brooke Van Vleet, president/CEO of St Helens Community Credit Union, continues as chair of the NWCUA Board of Directors. Van Vleet has served as a member of NWCUA’s Board since 2013. John Zmolek, president/CEO of Seattle-based Verity Credit Union, will serve as Vice Chair of the NWCUA Board for a second year, while Bert Fisher, CEO of Our Community Credit Union, Shelton, Wash., continues as Secretary of the NWCUA Board.
Scott Burgess, president/CEO of Beaverton, Oregon-based Rivermark Community Credit Union, was seated as a new NWCUA board member, replacing Jack Fallis, who completed his board service. Fallis is president/CEO of Spokane, Wash.-based Global Credit Union.
Idaho League
Continuing a second year as chair of the ICUL board is Kent Oram, president/CEO of Pocatello, Idaho-based Idaho Central Credit Union.
Todd Erickson, president/CEO of Meridian, Idaho-based CapEd Credit Union, will serve during the 2017-2018 term as Vice Chair of the ICUL Board.
Serving as Treasurer of the ICUL Board of Directors will be Brad Swartzentruber, president/CEO of Nampa-based Northwest Christian Credit Union.
Northwest CU Association
Announced as officers of the NWCUF for the 2017-2018 term are: Chair, Barbara Mathey, president and CEO of Portland-based IBEW & United Workers Federal Credit Union; Vice Chair, Shelli Millhuff, president/CEO of Seattle-based Nordstrom Federal Credit Union; Secretary, Jim McCarthy, president/CEO of Portland-based Trailhead Credit Union; and Treasurer, Kyle Frick, VP Marketing, Bend, Oregon-based Mid Oregon Credit Union.
