CHEYENNE, Wyo.—Blue Federal Credit Union has introduced “Rewards for Life.”
All Blue FCU members are currently eligible to start earning the benefits of the Rewards for Life program.
According to the credit union, “Rewards for Life” was established as a way to say thank you to the membership for their loyalty and business over the years.
“We love rewarding members. Rewards for Life is a way for Blue to say thank you to our most participating and loyal members for being part of the credit union,” said Rich Scholes, chief operating officer at Blue FCU, in a statement.
According to Blue Federal, members will be rewarded based on their participation in the credit union and years of membership. There are three levels to Rewards for Life – Silver, Gold, and Sapphire, with Sapphire being the highest level with the most benefits. The more business a member has with the CU, the more rewards received.
A Rewards for Life score is automatically generated for each member to determine what level of the program they fall into, the credit union explained. A member’s rewards score is determined through a combination of the number of unique services, length of membership, and total savings and loan balances, the CU said.
BFCU said members will benefit from rewards in the form of loan rate discounts, deposit rate increases, and waived fees. Sapphire members are able to earn as much at 4% APY on balances up to $15,000 with Blue’s free Extreme Checking account.
