Black Hills FCU To Introduce New Look

RAPID CITY, S.D. – Black Hills Federal Credit Union is unveiling a new look.

After 41 years, the credit union’s current logo will be phased out over the next several months and be replaced with a new logo.

“We’re excited to have a fresh, friendly and modern look that reflects our credit union culture and emphasizes our mission to improve lives,” said President and CEO Roger Heacock.

With 13 locations in eight communities, the new logo better represents BHFCU’s evolving membership, broad service area and 75-year history in the Black Hills and South Dakota, Heacock said.

“While we may be updating our look, the service our members have come to know and trust from BHFCU is here to stay,” Heacock said.

Carol Brown, vice president of marketing and business development at BHFCU, said the new image represents BHFCU’s history and diversity.

“It was time to develop an image that would work well across all mediums, appeal to those we serve and tell the story of who we are and the values we hold,” Brown said. “People see our new look as friendly and professional. They see the Black Hills, grasslands, rising sun and brilliant South Dakota sky – all good things.”
