ALENA, Mich.–Bigfoot can now be found at Northland Area FCU, which has introduced a character and program aimed at providing financial education to kids called “Buck E. Bigfoot.”
The $690-million credit union said “Buck E. Bigfoot” is a “fun character that kids of many ages will enjoy learning new money skills from, as well as his woodland friends.”
Northland Area has also published a coloring and activity book that has more information about the history of Northland, which includes Buck E. in many of the pages.
“We’ve seen such a positive response to our use of Sasquatch in our advertising it made sense to develop something for the younger sector of our members” said Matt Duthler, AVP of marketing. “Buck E. Bigfoot will be a great addition to the current financial education we provide many schools and students.”
