Bethpage FCU Names New President and CEO to Succeed the Retiring Wayne Grosse

NEW YORK—Bethpage FCU has named a new president and CEO to succeed the retiring Wayne Grosse.

Linda Armyn

The $13-billion credit union said it has selected Linda Armyn to lead the organization. Armyn has been with Bethpage for 22 years, most recently as chief strategy and marketing officer. She will serve as the fifth president and CEO, and is the first female to hold the position at the 456,000-membner CU.

Grossé served Bethpage for 24 years, with the last eight years as president and CEO. During his tenure, he oversaw strong asset growth as well as the establishment of Bethpage’s shared service operations in Maryland and Denver and two mergers, one of which expanded Bethpage’s field of membership nationally, according to the credit union.

Fulfilling Succession Plan

“We offer our thanks to Wayne for his 24 years of significant contributions that led to our success to date and set us up for the future.  We wish him well on his retirement,” stated Vincent Scicchitano, board chairman. “The board identified Linda two years ago as the potential successor as part of our long-term leadership plan.”
