GREENVILLE, Penn.– Bessemer System FCU is awarding a $100 one-time special dividend to each active member in good standing to “celebrate the credit union’s recent successes,” which will mean more than $330,000 infused into the local community, it said.
According to the $44-million BSFCU, the $100 dividend will be automatically deposited into members’ accounts on June 28. Qualified members do not need to take any action to receive this dividend. The credit union has approximately 3,500 members.
‘Deeply Grateful’
“Every active member in good standing will automatically receive a $100 bonus in his or her account as a one-time special dividend, allowing our members to share in our credit union’s recent successes. We are proud to invest in our local community and deeply grateful for our members’ trust,” CEO Joy E. Peterson said in a statement.
In announcing the special dividend, Bessemer System FCU said the payout is part of its commitment to the “well-being and growth” of the Mercer County community.
