Baylor Health Care System CU Names New President/CEO

DALLAS— Baylor Health Care System Credit Union has named Delana Bolen as its new president/CEO.

Bolen has more than 20 years of operational strategy and sales experience in the financial services industry.

“Her passion for growing businesses, implementing change, and driving organizational peak performance through multiple delivery channels will help Baylor Health Care System CU continue to fulfill the needs of its members,” said Cornerstone Resources, which handled the search.

Bolen comes to the $91-milion Baylor Health Care System from Cornerstone Resources in Plano, Texas, where she served as the VP of sales and support.

“She was responsible for providing strategic leadership and insight to more than 500-member credit unions in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas,” the organization said. “At Cornerstone Resources, Bolen centralized all sales and support services to improve service level agreements, quality control, and workflow efficiencies.”

Prior Roles

Bolen previously served  the vice president, sales and service center operations at Texas Trust Credit Union in Arlington, Texas. In this role, Bolen provided visionary leadership alongside the SVP of retail delivery to manage and direct more than 150 employees in 20 branch locations.

Bolen holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Dallas Baptist University in Texas, and Diversity and Inclusion Certification from Cornell University in New York.
