BCFP’s CU, Consumer, Bank Advisory Councils All Set to Meet On Same Day

WASHINGTON—The newly reconstituted Credit Union Advisory Council (CUAC) will hold a public meeting Thursday, Sept. 27, to discuss issues related to fintech. The meeting is scheduled to run from 9:30 a.m.–4 p.m.

Two other similar groups, the Consumer Advisory Board and the Community Bank Advisory Council, will also be meeting on the same date and time.

The meeting will be held at the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection's headquarters in Washington, and RSVP is required to attend in person or over the phone. A recording of the meeting will be available afterward, according to the Bureau.

As CUToday.info reported here, the BCFP has moved to drastically reduce the size of the Councils, which are mandated by the Dodd Frank Act, and to reduce the frequency with which they meet.
