BEAUMONT, Texas —The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating an ATM theft that occurred last week at the MCT Credit Union branch off Highway 87, according to KBMT.
Deputies say the suspects pulled up to one of the ATMs and forcibly removed part of the machine before fleeing the scene. The number of individuals involved remains unclear, KBMT said.
Later, investigators located the truck believed to have been used in the theft, abandoned on Patillo Road. The vehicle is now being examined for evidence that could help identify the suspects.
As of now, the Sheriff’s Office has not confirmed any arrests or identified any suspects, KBMT reported.
