AURORA, Colo.–Aurora Federal Credit Union has named a new president and CEO.
The $129.2-million CU said it has selected Charlie Watts to lead the organization.
Watts has recently served as SVP/CFO at Colorado Credit Union for the past eight years. During his time at Colorado Credit Union, he helped grow the organization to nearly $300-million from $118 million in assets in 2013. Previously, Watts was sales and marketing manager for SunCorp Corporate CU prior to its merger with Alloya Corporate FCU.

I look forward to joining the Aurora FCU team and working for our members, our staff, and our community,” said Watts.
Watts will officially start his new role on Jan. 1, 2022.
Watts holds a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Maryland and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Colorado. Watts is also a graduate of the Western CUNA Management School (WCMS) at Pomona College in Claremont, Calif.
