At One Town & Country CU, A New CEO; At Another, A New Member Access Channel

MINOT, N.D.–Town & Country Credit Union has named a new CEO.

The credit union said it has selected Jeremiah Kossen to lead the organization.

Kossen has spent his entire career working within financial services, most recently as COO at Lake Michigan Credit Union. He began his career with the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) and later joined NCUA. For the past decade, At Lake Michigan Credit Union Kossen also served as chief risk officer/SVP, VP-operations, and director of audit.

The $397-million Town & Country has approximately 19,000 offices and 10 branches.

Meanwhile, Town & Country FCU based in Scarborough, Maine, reports it has added functionality allowing members to use Amazon’s cloud-based voice service, Alexa, to access their personal account information.

Members can access their checking account balance, monitor their spending or find other information such as the credit union’s routing number through any Amazon Alexa-enabled device including Echo, Dot, Tap, Show and the new Spot, the credit union said.

“With growing consumer interest in voice-activated technology, particularly using Amazon’s Alexa, Town & Country’s skill will make it easy and convenient for our members to access their account information with simple voice commands such as “Alexa, open Town & Country,” said David Libby, Town & Country’s president & CEO. “With Town & Country’s new Alexa Skill, members can now stay on top of their finances just by asking Alexa.”

Town & Country said it collaborated with Digital Insight to develop its new skill for Alexa.

The $346-million Town & Country FCU has 36,677 members.
