SALT LAKE CITY–During the University of Utah vs. University of Michigan football game here, a member of America First Credit Union won a $10,000 loan payoff as the culmination of AFCU’s “Summer Better than Others” summer loan campaign.
As the title sponsor of the much-anticipated game, America First had three finalists from the summer campaign choose a number at random to determine which box they were assigned to. Nick J. received the number assigned to the winning box, which was filled with balloons.
In a record-setting event for Rice-Eccles stadium, America First Credit Union President and CEO John Lund and Board Chair Jim Wendler presented the game ball and congratulated the “Summer Better Than Others” loan payback winner.
During the summer campaign, members were able to take advantage of low rates to make their summer purchases, including RVs, automotive and home equity loans. Individuals were automatically entered to have their loan payments made for a month, as well as to win a host of summer giveaways when approved for a loan, use an America First credit card or open a new credit card account, become a member or follow America First on its social media platforms.
