ST. PAUL, Minn.—Minnesota Credit Union Network President and CEO Mark Cummins has been elected Chairman of the American Association of Credit Union Leagues (AACUL).
Having served in the credit union movement for 25 years, Cummins brings a wealth of experience to the AACUL board, MnCUN stated in a release. For the past eight years Cummins has served as MnCUN president and CEO. In addition, his previous experience includes working for 12 years as the president and CEO of White Crown FCU in Denver. Cummins is the chair of CUNA’s Cooperative Alliances Committee and the Credit Union Legislative Action Council. He also serves on the CUNA Partnership Committee.
“I appreciate the opportunity to serve as chairman of the American Association of Credit Union Leagues,” said Cummins. “The strength of the association enhances the ability of each league to support the credit unions in our states and ultimately the ability of credit unions to serve as consumers’ best financial option.”
