As Part of Annual Holiday Breakfast, LBS Financial Donates Hundreds of Toys & Gift Cards

LONG BEACH, Calif.–LBS Financial Credit Union employees donated hundreds of toys and gift cards to local non-profit, Love Beyond Limits, as part of its annual holiday breakfast.

Love Beyond Limits provides exceptional enrichment and leadership development opportunities to youth at risk and in need, the credit union explained, and offer youths an opportunity to “create and mold their own unique experiences through their wide range of educational and leadership activities and resources.”

LBS Financial said its donation will provide gifts for the children, and parents/caregivers for Love Beyond Limits’ 9th annual “Operation Give Me A Break” toy giveaway program.

“The work that Love Beyond Limits does in our community is truly inspiring,” said LBS Financial Credit Union President and CEO Jeffrey Napper. “All of us at LBS Financial were honored to participate in making the holidays special for the families they serve by supporting their Operation Give Me a Break program.”

Peach State Supports Toys for Tots

Separately, in Lawrenceville, Ga., Peach State Federal Credit Union recently completed its annual toy drive in support of the Marine Toys for Tots program.

The credit union said the annual tradition of donating new, unwrapped toys for children and families in need is a special holiday endeavor aligns with the vision of its  C.A.R.E.S. Foundation. The Peach State FCU C.A.R.E.S. Foundation was established as a way to help the communities within Peach State’s footprint, providing support to non-profits, school systems and the arts, PSFCU stated.

“We continue this tradition every year because of the shared vision that the Marine Toys for Tots Program and Peach State have in helping the greater good,” said Peach State President and CEO Marshall Boutwell. “This is a very special time of year, and we’re grateful for the support from our members and staff who donated toys that will bring joy to many families this holiday season.”
