NEW YORK–One of the sweetest deals in credit card offers is coming to an end.
JPMorgan Chase has set a Jan. 12 deadline to take advantage of the rewards it has been offering on its Chase Sapphire Reserve Card, which includes a bonus of 100,000 points (worth $1,500) after the consumer spends $4,000 on certain travel-related purchases in the first three months after opening the account.
Effective Jan. 12, the bank said it will be cutting the bonus in half for those who apply for the card online, although the deadline is March 12 for those who apply in a branch.
As CUToday.info reported here the premium cards have been very popular with consumers, despite the $450 annual fee in the case of Chase Sapphire Reserve.
