LENEXA, Kan.–CommunityAmerica Credit Union has introduced a new TV spot featuring Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
In the spot, Mahomes is shown working out while he says in voiceover, “What makes an unbelievable moment. The unbelievable work that goes into it.” The video then shows people studying, purchasing a new home, doing a home remodel, working inside a manufacturing facility and having a meeting.
The video then transitions to showing credit union representatives meeting with members.
“That’s why CommunityAmerica Credit Union provides unbelievable resources that go beyond banking, everyone in KC can work toward achieving financial peace of mind. CommunityAmerica Credit Union. Believe in the unbelievable,” says Mahomes.
The TV spot was created by Denver-based Cactus, which for the last six years has served as the credit union’s agency of record. The agency said the goal of the spot is to convey what it means for CommunityAmerica to serve the Kansas City community in a way that would expand on 2021’s "Unbelievable" campaign, which also featured Mahomes, along with Kansas City Royals TV Announcer Joel Goldberg.
A Reminder
“In partnering with Cactus for this work, we felt it was important to remind Kansas Citians how their own versions of ‘unbelievable work’ result in winning at life – and ultimately, that we are the best partner to help them achieve financial peace of mind throughout life’s journey,” said Whitney Bartelli, chief marketing and strategy officer with CommunityAmerica. “In the same way that Kansas City Chiefs fans enjoy peace of mind when Patrick is on the field, they can enjoy peace of mind knowing that CommunityAmerica is in their corner every step of the way. That’s the emotional connection we want to create.”

In addition, Mahomes is also appearing on billboards along with Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce.
