Applicants Sought for Financial eXchange Vendor Advisory Board

MADISON, Wis.—The CUNA Technology Council is now accepting applications for representatives to join the newly created Credit Union Financial eXchange (CUFX) Vendor Advisory Board.

Recently approved by the CUNA Technology Council, the board’s purpose is to aid the promotion, adoption and support of the CUFX standard to the benefit all organizations involved with credit union industry.

“We are excited to see how the new CUFX Vendor Advisory Board shapes and promotes the CUFX standard,” says Belinda Caillouet, Technology Council chair and chief operations and information officer at Spokane Teachers Credit Union. “Widespread adoption of the CUFX standard will change the credit union industry by simplifying the implementation process, reducing integration time and costs and improving the member experience with the latest technologies.”

The board will consist of application/solution providers, core system providers, and credit union service organizations. Board members will work together to meet the needs of the credit union industry by:

  • Promoting adoption of the CUFX standard.
  • Advancing the quality and usability of the CUFX technical standard.
  • Supporting the Governance Committee.
  • Reaching annual funding goals.

Board meetings will begin during the first quarter of 2015.
