CHARLOTTE, Mich. – Justin Tuck, assistant branch manager with LAFCU, here joined his family to appear on the TV game show Family Feud, where they won more than $20,000.
Joining Tuck in Atlanta for filming of the program was Tuck’s wife, Jana, brother Glenn Tuck, and brother and sister-in-law Rob and Amanda Tuck. The family appeared on the show for four episodes before walking away with $23,000 in winnings. Their appearances originally aired in late-April and are scheduled to air again Aug. 31–Sept. 3 in at least some markets.
“We wanted to compete on the show for fun, but ended up bonding as a family,” Tuck said. “It was an exciting experience, and we were grateful for the opportunity, not just the prize money. The producers look for energetic families with personalities who match the comedic tone of the show. Having worked in the financial industry for more than five years, I have interacted with many different kinds of members and employees. That training and experience made me comfortable with public speaking, communication, and listening, which helped as we participated in the audition and competition.”
According to LAFCU, after submitting a photo and essay, the Tucks competed at a live audition in Chicago and were selected to compete on the show. They spent several months practicing the board game version with friends and neighbors and were flown to the studio to tape a live show with host Steve Harvey, LAFCU said.
