INDIANAPOLIS—After a first round of upsets and nail-biters, Scott Witherspoon of Affinity FCU is atop the first-ever credit union industry-wide NCAA March Madness Pool.
“The Great CUToday.info March Madness Bracket” is being conducted in conjunction with CBS Sports. Using the CBS Sports Pool scoring model, Witherspoon leads with an overall score of 50, ahead of two players, John Miller and Ryan Garland, each of whom has an overall score of 47 (see top 25 below).
The three leaders have all selected different teams as the ultimate tournament winner: Arizona, Kentucky and Wisconsin, respectively. There are 11 players within seven points of the leader as the tournament enters the Sweet 16 round. The winner of the CUToday.info March Madness pool will receive a $100 gift card.
