WASHINGTON–Following voting by credit unions, CUNA has announced the theme for 2016’s National Credit Union Youth Month, which will take place during April. The fitness-inspired theme will be "Credit Union Strong."
According to CUNA, the theme encourages kids to get in shape financially and uses youth-friendly messaging to show how credit unions make members and their communities stronger. CUNA is urging credit unions to help young people recognize the value and importance of financial services and cultivate an entire generation of loyal future members.
CUNA reminded that there are 23-million Americans in Generation Z, those born from the mid-2000s through today.
