BOSTON—A new study indicates that demand for corporate mobile banking is rising fast.
A report by Aite Group shows that large banks expect demand from businesses for mobile will increase by 74% over the next two years—only 26% of big banks see demand staying the same.
“Only the largest banks around the globe offer corporate mobile banking, and only about 10% of corporate treasurers perform bank transactions through this channel,” stated Aite. “Nevertheless, corporate scrutiny of and demand for banks’ digital capabilities is growing. Thus, offering the right corporate mobile capabilities is becoming table stakes for customer acquisition and retention.”
The report analyzed the corporate mobile banking offerings of large banks around the globe, relying on 2015 phone interviews with large banks.
