WASHINGTON—America’s Credit Unions pressed the NCUA Tuesday to ensure its future priorities support credit unions’ ability to innovate.
During the agency’s Strategic Plan Town Hall, Regulatory Advocacy Senior Counsel Luke Martone outlined specific ways the NCUA can help credit unions work more effectively with third-party service providers as they adopt new technology solutions.
He also reiterated that NCUA should consider adding an additional goal to its Strategic Plan focused on supporting credit union innovation and positioning the industry into the future. That was one of many suggestions sent to the NCUA in August by Martone in response to the agency’s request for input on strategic plan and budget.
