America First CU Kicks Off New Cards With Soccer Team

SALT LAKE CITY –Shortly after announcing it had bought naming rights to the home stadium of Major League Soccer’s Real Salt Lake club, America First Credit Union has introduced an RSL-branded credit card and debit card.

“Each card features sleek RSL graphics and is packed full of features and benefits including fraud protection technology and identity theft recovery services,” the credit union said. “America First Credit Union is proud to offer the exclusive RSL credit or debit card on all new and existing accounts and is a perfect match with Premium Checking for even more value, including ABC Deals, Card Guard, worldwide access and more.”

America First said cardholders will also receive concession discounts, ticket discounts to select home games, pre-sale access to additional stadium events, team store savings and more.

‘Special Opportunity’

“With our recent announcement of America First Field, we are excited to announce this incredible benefit for RSL fans and our members,” said America First President and CEO Thayne Shaffer. “Being founding partners from the very beginning, and the unique connection between our two organizations, creates a special opportunity for our members to share in the legacy of our relationship.”

The America First announcement comes the same week Together Credit Union, the official banking partner of Major League Soccer’s St. Louis CITY SC, introduced CITY’s official debit card.
