FORT DRUM, N.Y. – Country music artists Gabby Barrett and Maddie and Taewill headlineAmeriCU’s Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert on June 21.
The event marks the 11th year of the concert as part of FMWR’s Mountainfest.
AmeriCU Credit Union said it is sponsoring the special event as a tribute and expression of gratitude to the brave soldiers of the U.S. Army 10th Mountain Division, as well as their families, and community, for their “remarkable service and selfless sacrifices in service to our nation.”
Gates will open at noon for a day filled with food, fun, and great music, with the concert starting at 7 p.m.
‘Captivating Audience’
“Country music sensation Gabby Barrett is captivating audiences with her multi-platinum success,” AmeriCU said. “Setting the charts ablaze, her debut single ‘I Hope’ soared to the top three on the Billboard Hot 100. Maddie and Tae first broke out in 2013 with their Platinum-selling smash, “Girl In A Country Song,” which took country radio by storm, skyrocketing to the top of the charts.”
“We take immense pride in honoring our military and cherishing the connection we share with the Fort Drum community as we come together in celebration,” said EVP/COO Alissa Sykes Tulloch. “We are thrilled to feature exceptionally accomplished female artists who will grace our highly anticipated concert stage.”
