BOULDER CITY, Nev.–A representative of Amazon Web Services has been added to the list of those who will be “shaking things up” at the upcoming Underground Collision in Washington.
The event, sponsored by Mitchell, Stankovic and Associates on Feb. 26, will feature George Estrada, principal strategic advisor with of Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) Credit Union Team.
“After Underground Money 20/20, George and I connected. AWS finds the entire Underground initiative intriguing and critically important to the changing landscape of financial services,” said Susan Mitchell, CEO of Mitchell Stankovic. “Exploring the world of AWS is much like peeking through a window to get a glimpse of what’s shattered on the road ahead.”
Added Estrada, “Atrophy first and then comes irrelevance, in that order. I’ve been around when industry meltdowns occur--newspaper, entertainment, core technology--and digital enterprises can take over quickly. Credit unions have a special purpose, and it is enticing to think that digital savvy can transform the industry.”
In announcing the newest Underground Collision, Mitchell Stankovic said 2023 is a “year to be brave, stand up for purpose! Underground speakers will tackle Shattered lives, fading dreams, vulnerable technology and economic instability while also showing how CU Heart can inspire us to climb mountains and shine the light for all the world to see.
“The Underground will demonstrate how integrating emotional and digital intelligence can grow membership and deepen relationships, giving a sense of belonging back to the people,” Mitchell Stankovic added.
The event will be held at the Top of the Hay-Adams Hotel starting at 8:00 am EST. To register, go here.
