AMARILLO, Texas — Amarillo Community Credit Union has named a new president/CEO.
The $230-million Amarillo Community has selected Scott Rose to lead the organization, effective Monday, Feb. 18, 2019. The executive search was conducted by Credit Union Resources.
Rose has previously served as president/CEO of Alliance Credit Union in Lubbock, Texas, where he tripled the MBL portfolio after re-launching Member Business Solutions. He also oversaw asset growth of 9.08%, according to CU Resources.
In addition to being a credit union CEO, Rose is also the founder and CEO of Ruddered for Success, Inc., which offered strategic consulting services for financial institutions and facilitated strategic planning sessions.
Rose has more than 25 years of management experience in credit unions.
Rose received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Amberton University in Garland, Texas. He is also a graduate of the Texas Tech University Rawls School of Banking, a Certified Credit Union Executive from CUNA, a Credit Union Development Educator from the National Credit Union Foundation, and is a Certified Chief Executive from the Credit Union Executives Society’s CEO Institute.
