NAPERVILLE, Ill.—The ninth winner in Alloya Corporate FCU’s “10 for 10 for 10” initiative has been named: REALTORS for Kids.
As CUToday.info has reported, Alloya is celebrating its 10th anniversary, which falls on Oct. 24, by donating $10,000 to 10 charities over 10 days.
REALTORS for Kids was nominated by Northern Hills Federal Credit Union in Sturgis, S.D.
Formed in 2003 by a group of individuals from the Northern Black Hills Association of REALTORS, REALTORS for Kids is a non-profit corporation with a mission to distribute funds to children in the Northern Black Hills community to be used for the betterment of children's lives. The organization assists children that are victims of abuse, neglect or abandonment; have either a temporary or ongoing medical condition that requires money beyond what the child's primary caregivers are able to provide; or wish to participate in school and community programs and do not have the funds to do so.
Northern Hills FCU said it is an active supporter of REALTORS for Kids. In the past, members and employees of the credit union have received assistance from REALTORS for Kids when major medical crises occurred or when life presented a challenge for a child, Alloya noted.
“REALTORS for Kids is always there! They have raised and donated in excess of $1 million to our local children over their 18 years of service,” said Melody Fallon, vice president of lending at Northern Hills Federal Credit Union.
Northern Hills Federal Credit Union serves nearly 10,000 members in Meade, Butte, Lawrence and Pennington counties.
“Alloya congratulates Northern Hills Federal Credit Union and REALTORS for Kids for being the ninth winner of the 10 for 10 for 10 charitable donation program,” Alloya said.
